At Steves Joinery we have a continuing commitment to research and development and are passionate about using board which is HMR( high moisture resistant )and is certified E0 and E1 ( low emission). This board is sourced from sustainable timber plantations and meets our stringent Australian standards. This ensures our joinery is extremely durable and safe for your family home, whilst supporting our Australian industry. Imported furniture is rarely made from this board and can contain up to four times the amount of formaldehyde and other chemicals commonly used for binding.
Our Unanderra factory runs on 120 solar panels as we are passionate about reducing our footprint on our planet . Waste reduction, sustainable material selections and the safety of our staff is also paramount with the factory air quality and their well being!
We work directly with your builders, architects and designers, and communicate through every stage of your project to ensure the needs of our clients are being met at all stages of the renovation or building process. We pride ourselves on our commitment to after sales service - all details are attended to promptly and all work covered by a 7 year guarantee. If there's a problem we will fix it , replace or sort it !
STEP 1: APPOINTMENT & CONSULTATION
Wed love to meet you and hear about your project .Please email or call us , and we can arrange a meeting to discuss your project . These meeting do take time so its always a good idea to book ahead so we can give you our full attention . We also welcome emaiing us your plans and details to discuss in the early stages .
STEP 2: DESIGN PROCESS
As per your brief, our design team will then present an initial plan and layout with rough costings – this process is then refined over following meetings to meet your requirements.
STEP 3: TECHNICAL AND MANUFACTURE
Once design and materials are finalised, 3D drawings are prepared bringing your plans to life!
Appliances confirmed and delivery to our workshop arranged( with the exception of any freestanding appliances) We can also help you with appliance and PC selections to make the process easier .
STEP 4: INSPECTION
At Steves Joinery we invite you to workshop when your kitchen (or joinery) is setup and ready for painting and install. This way any last changes are made to minimise any surprises on install day!
STEP 5: INSTALLATION
Installation Is arranged and coordination of other trades (such as plumber, electrician or carpentry) as required.
STEP 6: BENCHTOPS
If using stone this is when it will be templated and ordered then installed during following days. Splashback is also confirmed at this stage, measured, ordered and then installed.
